Life Outside of Work

My 5 to 9 is filled with a mix of giving back, adventure, and learning. From a young age, my parents instilled in me the importance of giving back to the community. Whether it was volunteering at the local food bank or fundraising for a cause, they taught me to make it a core part of my life. In college, I joined the Puppy Jake Foundation. This organization trains service dogs for veterans free of cost. In the course of six years, I went from never having trained a dog to training multiple puppies and sitting on the board helping with fundraising and marketing. 

After training service dogs, this year I decided to train a therapy dog I could bring to hospitals to bring joy to those in need. Outside of training dogs, I am passionate about the Jeep community. My first vehicle was a Jeep Patriot, and since then I've worked my way through a few different models to a Gladiator. In that time, I've slowly taught myself how to work on vehicles to become a backyard mechanic. In both these passions, I've continued to learn skills that apply across many fields.
